Hey, I’m Megan. I’m 13 and I go to Bridger Middle School here in Las Vegas, NV. We are doing a write-up on your project, and it sounded interesting, so I decided to find out more about it. I saw the interview on CNN’s website. And then I found this site! I just wanna say thanks for doing this. I know that 9/11 was very hard on many people. Today, my teacher started talking about it and his voice cracked. He began to sob. And when I saw that, I realized just how much 9/11 really meant to the country. Now, I want to thank for, for taking hours and days and months of your time to work on this important project for the country. Thank you for working so hard to help us all remember to never forget 9/11. We will always remember. Thanks again, and I can’t wait to see the unveiling on the project!!!!!!!!!

Shelby and I are so pleased with your memorial. We lost our son, Adam Shelby White, in the attack. He was working for Cantor Fitzgerald in the North Tower. It will be so meaningful to have a permanent 9/11 memorial in the Atlanta area, and we are looking forward to seeing it.
    Thank you so much.

Doug, not only was it a pleasure to assist you on this, but more of an honor to have put my own sweat into this project. Yes, we may bleed different colors, you red and I blue, but when it is all said and done, it boils down to this: Many heroes were lost on that tragic day, yet they were all working together toward the same objective….to Serve, Save, and Protect. Some were there to fight the flames and others to bring order to chaos, yet ALL were serving. Thus, let us not forget those who were not in the field of Public Safety, who prevented further tragedy. Through this Memorial…ALL shall forever be remembered. Not only have I gained new friends, but I have gained new Brothers and Sisters. Thank you for all you have done for this Memorial!

  11. Hello, I just stumbled on to this website and was reading about the project. I must say, very touching. At the time of 9/11 I was on college and was asked to lead a fundraiser for the FDNY. In doing so, I worked closely with Capt. Eric Jackson and Members of the Dekalb County Fire Department. It was a great honor to work with all of them.

I am now an aspiring photographer and look forward to snapping some photos during the ceremony on 9/11/11. My husband and I will be attending. We are excited to take part in this event.

As someone who saw the horrifying images ten years ago. I believe that your phoenix will rise from the ashes as it should do. God Bless the people who died, their families and friends.
Know that even in England so far away, they will be remembered always.

I was at the DeKalb Co. Public Safety Buildings for the unvieling of this project, it was awesome. The work on the memorial was perfect. The professionalism shown by the men and women of these departments was top notch. Very well done and the presentation was not polictical but exactly what it should be, about those that serve this country everyday and make the sacifices.

  17. A person essentially lend a hand to make critically posts I would state. That is the first time I frequented your web page and to this point? I surprised with the research you made to make this actual put up incredible. Wonderful job!
